Just add your sites.
Manage natural capital, all in one place.
BiomeBoard is a natural capital visualization tool that unifies the collection, assessment, and management of natural capital data. Just enter your business sites to visualize natural capital site by site.
This beta is intended to help us evaluate and improve the service through real-world use. Please note that we may decline applications from companies or organizations that offer or develop similar services, or where we determine that the intended use does not align with the purpose of this beta. Thank you for your understanding.

Three features of BiomeBoard
Manage natural capital, all in one place
Science-based baseline analysis
From each site's location, BiomeBoard automatically retrieves analysis results such as water risk, tree cover loss, critical habitat, Biodiversity Intactness (BI), and ecoregions through our NatureMetrics API. For sites in Japan, you can also see the Endangered Species Richness Index (amphibians, birds, fish, mammals, plants, and reptiles).
Collect site data across your supply chain
Send information requests to partners or your own sites, and receive their site information through a URL and passcode. Recipients can respond without a BiomeBoard account, and you review and approve each submission before it enters your records.
LEAP analysis and disclosure reports with the TNFD board
The TNFD board (paid) takes you through the LEAP approach (Locate, Evaluate, Assess, Prepare) to select priority sites, and produces a TNFD disclosure draft (Word) and a complete data workbook (Excel). You can try it free of charge for a period after you start. PowerPoint output is coming soon.
Key features
Collection, assessment, and management – unified
Automatically retrieve natural capital analysis results from your sites' locations, and review them in lists and on the map
Collect site information from partners and sites through information requests
Run LEAP-aligned analysis and create TNFD reports (Word / Excel) with the TNFD board

Plus more features to support natural capital management
- See the status of all your sites on the dashboard
- ENCORE dependency and impact analysis based on industry (ISIC), free
- Baseline analysis reports (PDF / Word) and Excel data export, free
- Track to-dos and progress, including TNFD responses, in action management
- Import your own IBAT reports to bring protected areas, KBAs, and STAR into the analysis
- Import, store, and view BiomeSurvey survey data (CSV)
Three core values
Natural capital management, from collection to disclosure
Start even with incomplete information
You can register a site's location at a coarse level, such as country, prefecture, or municipality, and refine it later. Each site shows how precise its location is and which items are missing.
From collection to disclosure, in one place
Collect site information, run baseline analysis, and carry out TNFD analysis and reporting, all in one tool.
Global and Japan-specific data, with sources stated
Alongside globally comparable data, the Endangered Species Richness Index is available for sites in Japan. The source, version, and assessment area of the data used are stated on screen and in reports.

Core features are free during the beta. You can also try the TNFD board free of charge

Roadmap
Expanding framework support and integrations
PowerPoint output for TNFD reports
A PowerPoint format for management reporting and internal briefings is coming soon.
Support for SBTN and State of Nature (SoN)
For SBTN and SoN, screens that outline each framework's steps are available now. Assessment and analysis features are planned.
Integration with field survey tools and nature tech
We are exploring deeper integration with our biodiversity survey tool BiomeSurvey (survey data can already be imported as CSV), and integration with ANEMONE, an environmental DNA monitoring network.
Broader support for international frameworks and regulations
We envision features supporting CDP, CSRD, ISO, EUDR, and natural capital accounting, as well as land-development and raw-material sourcing risk assessment, nature finance, nature credits, and green infrastructure design and assessment.
